For sale is a 2005 Volkswagen Golf GLS TDI with 201,417 miles. I used this car for my daily commute between Cheyenne and Wheatland. I bought it with around 88,500 miles, so most of miles are highway. It has an automatic 5-speed transmission. Car is in fair condition, a little bit of hail damage, stains on the back seats etc. It has a brand new set of Hankook I-pike snow tires on it that hardly have any miles on them. The timing belt, water pump, and associated pulleys/tensioner, oil, and fuel filters were all changed at about 198K miles. So that isn't something that you will have to worry about for a while. The car also has a Frostheater brand block heater for the winter. Makes a huge difference in how fast the car warms up in the winter. As for the bad the car has an exhaust leak that needs repaired that severely effects how the car performs. It runs and drives, but not well at the moment. The leak will need repaired for it to be a driveable vehicle. I don't have time to repair it and have already purchased another vehicle to replace it. I don't think it will be a major repair, but I don't want to deal with it. It has an oil leak, I believe the oil pan needs resealed. The other negative is that the car doesn't have an owners manual, it didn't have one when I purchased it.
